Our commitment to our customers goes beyond a daily presence in your kitchens and tea cups; we are also proud to support communities and organizations that help share our philosophies of family, healthy living and serving others. That is why we are excited to recognize the 100^th year anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America! It’s a special year for the Boy Scouts, and we salute their many works and efforts.

You may remember that in 2008, our own Cindi Bigelow was honored with the Boy Scout of the Year award, given annually to strong community role models. Cindi was honored to be recognized by an organization that does such high quality community service work, and shares in our mission to promote ethical social practices.

Through work in our local community (like our annual Bigelow Tea Community Challenge) we reach out to and support efforts of many charitable organizations. And we always advocate doing the right thing. We applaud the work of the Boy Scouts of America and their full time job of helping build strong, lasting bonds between youth and their community. We wish them a great year of celebration. And we raise a cup of tea to the next 100!

As a company that was founded on family values, Bigelow Tea would like to take the opportunity to recognize our veterans from the Armed Services, on Veterans Day 2009.

It is with this deep gratitude that we also recognize National Military Family Appreciation Month in November. Throughout our history, the resolute support of military families has always been a source of inspiration to our men and women in uniform. We extend our thanks and appreciation to those men and women who also serve – at home – while their loved ones serve in uniform.  As a family business, Bigelow Tea knows how important it is to have family support .  Families of the military face challenges that many cannot understand.  Your continued support of your loved ones serves as a source of inspiration to us all.
