How To Use This Blog

Welcome to Bigelow’s Constant Comments Tea Talk blog.

For those of you who already love tea but are new to blogs, here is a brief orientation. The word blog is short for web log and is just a catchy way of referring to keeping a journal on-line. Here at Bigelow’s Tea Talk, this serves as a way for us to communicate with you about our passion for tea, and for you to keep constant comments coming back to us about what interests you and tickles your taste buds.

On the main body of the page, you can find the 10 most current entries. They are posted with the most recent entries starting on top. Each one begins with a date and title and ends with the contributor’s name and the red Comment button. Feel free to scroll down this main page and read through the varied posts and see all the photos and happenings at Bigelow Tea. When you find yourself at the bottom of the main page, use the Archives link on the sidebar or the Previous button. Click on either to continue going back through the entries — if interested, go all the way back to the beginning to see our first posts!

Lots of comments and interaction are what make Bigelow’s Tea Talk a lively place and we would love to hear from you! Read through the Comment Policy page first so that you are familiar with our guidelines. When you have a comment or question related to a particular entry, scroll to the end of that entry until you find the Comment button in small red letters. When you click on it, the new screen will contain the post you are commenting on as well as a form for you to use for submitting your own comment. Fill out your name, email address and web site if you have one and then write your comment. When you are done, just click on the Submit Comment button. We have to make sure your comment adheres to the policy and if all looks good, your comment will be posted for all of the Bigelow visitors to read.

So, how do you find all of the comments from other bloggers and Bigelow readers? At the end of each entry, click on the red Comments button that is followed by a number of 1 or more. All of the readers’ comments associated with that entry will appear. Read what others have to say and make a comment yourself if you have something to share about the entry. When finished, click the reverse arrow or click on the white letters back to index to get from that page back to the main page.

The right hand side bar offers several more Bigelow entry choices. Scan through the list of Categories to see if there is a subject that particularly interests you. When you click on any of those subject headings, all the entries throughout the entire Bigelow blog related to that subject will come up for you. The number in parentheses after the subject title lets you know how many entries are logged under that subject heading.

Also on the side bar is the About page. Here you will learn a bit about Bigelow Tea, the company, and meet the contributors to Tea Talk. We also have a Blogroll which are links to other blogs who are friends of Bigelow Tea and Tea Talk.

And finally we have, under Meta, the area where you can subscribe to Bigelow’s Constant Comments Tea Talk blog. Similar to getting our catalog in the mail, you can get an email notification from us each time there is an entry posted to our blog. Type your email in the white box and hit Subscribe me or click on the orange icon to learn more about RSS and how to subscribe in a reader.

We are having lots of fun blogging about Bigelow Tea. We hope you have fun as well. Don’t forget to comment on an entry that is interesting to you and bookmark our blog or subscribe to this blog so we can continue to stay in touch!
