Calm-A-Sutra Scholarship Video: “Tea for Me”

This is an entry for the Calm-A-Sutra scholarship video competition. It’s a music video that imparts useful facts about tea and its health benefits.

Video and music written and produced by, and starring Elizabeth Hill and David Hill, with special guest star Pinky the Singing Teapot.

Lyrics:

Drinking tea is good for me – it makes my breath fresher.
Apparently a cup of tea can lower my blood pressure.
It stops me getting strokes and it reduces hypertension.
Its got amino acids to sharpen my attention.
It makes me less susceptible to daily stress and strain,
Does wonders for the cognitive powers of my brain.
Its even got some caffeine to help my memory,
And theanine to build up my immunity.

Tea for me,
Make it tea for me.
Black white green or oolong,
I cant survive for too long
Without
Tea for me,
Cause it keeps me breathing free.
My scale goes
Do re mi fa so la
Tea tea tea tea.

If I want a daily drink to help me ward off cancer,
Ive heard them say a nice Earl Grey could be the answer.
It speeds the metabolic rate which helps me burn each calorie.
By making me work better it can even raise my salary.
It battles the bacteria and fights the nasty fungi,
That otherwise would rot my teeth or make my nose all bungy.
It also helps the blood flow through each artery
By boosting my blood vessels reactivity.

Tea for me,
Make it tea for me.
Black white green or oolong,
I cant survive for too long
Without
Tea for me,
Cause it keeps me breathing free.
My scale goes
Do re mi fa so la
Tea tea tea tea.

Tea for me,
Make it tea for me.
Black white green or oolong – oo!
I cannot go for too long
Without
Tea for me,
Cause it keeps me breathing free.
My scale goes
Do re mi fa so la
Tea tea tea tea.

Tea for me too, please. And tea for everyone. Thank God it’s become a drink that’s available for most people in the world to drink every day. What a blessing for people everywhere. –Spirituality of Tea
