A Teapot Dinner to Remember, 50 Years with David C. Bigelow!

Friday night was our annual Teapot dinner. This event is where we welcome all employees that have been with our company for 7 years. We had 4 new members coming in Friday night and now have over 60% of all employees in the teapot club.

What made Friday night that much more special is that we honored my father, David C. Bigelow, for 50 years of running the company and for 50 years of outstanding leadership! He was not aware that we were planning anything for him… so many people helped make this event come to life. Everyone wanted to have a hand in the planning as their way of being able to give back to him in some way.

He has done so much for all of us. His vision, his compassion, his drive and his high moral standard have defined what Bigelow Tea is today. I was a little nervous that my presentation would not do his good work justice. He deserves only the best. He has and always will be my role model.
