It Was a Great Day!

What a great day last week! Started off in New York supporting the Imus Radiothon which raises money for the CJ Foundation for SIDS, Tomorrow’s Children Fund and the Imus Ranch helping kids with cancer. During my visit, I had a chance to talk to this little girl Kyra that had been a guest of the Imus Ranch last summer and I am happy to report she was doing well!

Listening to all the stories of people that have been touched by the money raised by Don Imus was completely invigorating. I was delighted to be a part of such a fantastic event.

I then came back to the office to be greeted by this young girl named Ariel who works in our lobby one day a week. She is part of a program that offers employment to individuals with special needs.

Ariel greeted me with her usual beautiful smile and showed me a book she is putting together of her experience here at Bigelow. After reading it (to be honest, I was extremely emotional reading all she had to say about working here) I went to my office completely energized by how many wonderful people I am blessed to come in contact with thanks to Bigelow Tea.

The rest of the day had its usual fanatic pace, but it didn’t matter. It was all good. It was a great day.
